Sarah Camiscoli is the founder and executive director of IntegrateNYC - a youth-led organization that joins students from New York City’s most segregated schools to design 21st-century solutions for real Integration and creates a real representation of young leaders in decision making bodies.
One of her most treasured “impacts” was watching two seventeen-year-old advocates from the Bronx and Brooklyn collectively redesign the high school matching algorithm to prioritize socio-economic and racial diversity in New York City’s 700 HS programs. She believes her next most treasured moment might be when they head to a congressional briefing in DC this spring to share their work with political leaders as a foundation for a National Data Bill of Rights.
IntegrateNYC utilizes community organizing, positive youth development and collective impact strategies to elevate young leaders across communities who will work to unite our society.
