After studying advertising and marketing in New York, Éva went on to become a legislative aide in healthcare in California for two years and then worked in marketing and brand strategy over the past 10 years landing as one of the first employees at Everlane where she built their active community as the Head of Culture, Social Media, and Hiring. With a love for product and people, she co-founded Tinker Watches in 2015, and moved back to New York to launch Maude, a gender-neutral, modern sex essentials company in 2018. A minority founder, Éva successfully raised venture funding for Maude. Pre-launch, the company has been recognized as part of the future of sex by over 30 publications.
ImpactMaude is a modern, gender-inclusive sex essentials company that was created to solve the disparity between how this industry has traditionally and historically marketed and created products and how a modern consumer feels about the sexual wellness space. Currently, existing incumbents are over-assorted, hyper-sexualized, often misogynistic, and reflect an outdated approach to the subject of sex. Maude believes that because of that, consumers haven't had a brand they can align with as they've evolved to be more discerning and thoughtful. More importantly, there is a gap in the market for a brand to lead the way on changing sex culture, creating and expanding sex education, and advocating for the consumer's interest through better design, product, and experience. Maude is here to do just that.
