Danny has spent almost 10 years reimagining computer science education. An alumnus of Teach for America and former Googler/YouTuber, Danny was head of K-12 computer science instruction at Flatiron School before starting Upperline Code. He is deeply committed to the art of instruction and discovering the best methods to recruit, train, and retain top teaching talent.
ImpactDanny believes that equipping teachers with technical tools and skills can change the trajectory of their students' lives. In his career, he's trained over 100 teachers to lead immersive programming courses in schools across the country. Those teachers regularly evaluate the Upperline training as the most valuable in their teaching careers.
